Leaves less than 4 mm long and 1 mm wide, thick, narrow-lanceolate, few (usually less than 15) on the stem. Flowers in a raceme. Corolla c. 2 mm long, white to pale pink. Ovary linear. Annual herb up to 15 cm high, ± fleshy. Coast. Damp places. Fl. spring–summer Stylidium despectum
