Leaves ovate to elliptic, 8–25 mm long, 4–9 mm wide, usually tomentose below, with recurved margins; apex acute. Stipules pale brown. Floral leaves not whitish. Floral tube pubescent to the base, c. 4 mm long. Spreading shrub up to c. 50 cm high. Howes Valley; Hunter River Valley. DSF Ss. Fl. winter–spring Spyridium buxifolium
