Peduncles more than 7 mm long. Mericarps 7–11. Flowers solitary. Calyx c. 5 mm long. Petals longer than the sepals. Leaves lanceolate to ovate, 2–5 cm long, deeply dentate, paler on undersurface. Widespread. Common weed of gardens and waste ground. Fl. spring–summer. Common Sida or Paddy’s Lucerne Sida rhombifolia
