Tall or small tree with fibrous bark. Leaves oblong-linear to linear-lanceolate, 5–15 cm long, 6–12 mm wide. Male cones 2–3 cm long, several together, sessile, in axillary clusters. Seeds 8–12 mm diam.; the fleshy receptacle sometimes 18 mm diam. Coast, e.g. Illawarra district. RF and gullies. Grown for ornamental purposes. Plum Pine Podocarpus elatus
