Branchlets and petioles glabrous to pubescent. Undersurface of leaves glabrous or minutely pubescent.
Leaves mostly less than 3 cm wide, 5–10 cm long, lanceolate to ovate-lanceolate. Corolla c. 4 mm long
Leaves rounded or cordate at the base, equally green on both surfaces; main veins making an angle of 45–50° with the midvein. Inflorescence glabrous. Corolla campanulate, bearded at the base inside; lobes broad, c. as long as the tube. Blue Mts; Illawarra region. WSF and RF. Fl. summer–autumn. Black Silkpod Parsonsia purpurascens
