Branchlets and petioles glabrous to pubescent. Undersurface of leaves glabrous or minutely pubescent.
Leaves mostly less than 3 cm wide, 5–10 cm long, lanceolate to ovate-lanceolate. Corolla c. 4 mm long
Leaves tapering towards both ends, paler underneath; main lateral veins making an angle of 30–45° with the midvein. Inflorescence rusty-tomentose. Corolla bearded inside at the base with reflexed hairs; lobes narrow, twice as long as the tube. Fruit 5–8 cm long, dividing into rather thin follicles. Blue Mts WSF. Fl. Summer Parsonsia brownii
