Hairs on the stem very short and all ± the same size. Leaves elliptic to oblong, up to 2 cm long, sinuate. Capsule cylindrical, 15–20 mm long, pubescent. Erect herb up to 40 cm high, with a rhizome. Coast and Cumberland Plain. Sandy soils, often on sand dunes. Introd. from S. America. Fl. spring–autumn Oenothera indecorabonariensis
