Leaves petiolate, elliptic, 15–115 mm long, 4–38 mm wide, flat, irregularly toothed to entire, brown-tomentose underneath. Heads pedunculate, in terminal panicles. Ray florets 4–7, white. Cypselas glabrous; pappus in 2 rows. Shrub up to 3 m high. Blue Mts Open forests. Fl. summer Olearia chrysophylla
