Rhizome knotted, shortly creeping. Fronds submembranous or herbaceous , rather flaccid. Stipes yellow or yellow-brown, flexuose. Ultimate segments cuneate-truncate or sometimes flabellate, equilateral or somewhat unilateral. Widespread. Open forests, woodland and RF margins. Damp sandy soil or in crevices of Ss cliffs Lindsaea microphylla
