Leaves with numerous veins from the base, quite sessile on a broad pulvinus, lanceolate to ovate, 5–15 mm long, tapering to an hyaline point c. 1 mm long, appressed to the stem. Straggling shrub up to 60 cm high, with rigid wiry branches. Coast and adjacent plateaus; lower Blue Mts Heath and DSF. Sandy soils. Fl. summer–autumn Leucopogon appressus
