Leaves narrow-oblong to lanceolate or cordate, 1–10 cm long
Leaves narrow-oblong to lanceolate, 3–10 cm long, entire, sinuate or with short lobes, glabrous on upper surface. Cymes narrow or spreading, 5–10-flowered. Calyx lobes ovate, 5–8 mm long, acute, thick, deep rusty to light brown tomentose outside, whitish tomentose inside. Erect or diffuse shrub 1–3 m high but prostrate on exposed headlands near the sea.
