Fruit more than 3 mm wide. Leaves 1–5 cm wide.; reniform to orbicular-cordate; margins crenate; unbroken or with 3 to 11 shallow lobes. Flowers 5–20 per head ± sessile. Fruit smooth with thick dorsal ribs, base emarginate. Stems creeping, rooting at nodes. Moist places in open forest or RF. Fl. spring–autumn Hydrocotyle pterocarpa
