Ovary hairs not confined to lower half Inside of perianth and style very densely covered with whitish reflexed hairs, the outside of the perianth densely rusty hairy. Perianth tube usually under 6 mm long, narrow or broad but not usually dilated below the middle. Racemes umbel-like. Perianth pinkish. Inside of perianth with hairs similar in colour to those on the outside or glabrous. Perianth tube usually more than 6 mm long, very broad or dilated at the base. Racemes one sided or if umbel-like then flowers red to green
