Calyx tubular, 4-lobed, much shorter than the corolla. Corolla narrowly campanulate, pink to white, 4–5 mm long. Erect shrub 1–2 m high Naturalized at places in Blue Mts and on the coastal plain. Introd. from W. Europe. Fl. autumn–spring Erica lusitanica
