Corolla up to 12 mm long covered with fine silvery hairs outside. Hairs on the short flowering stems pale grey to silvery. Leaves with pale grey hairs underneath, glabrous on the upper surface, linear to elliptic, 9–30 mm long, entire or with a few teeth. Shrub with several stems, up to 60 cm high. Hornsby Plateau south of the Hawkesbury River. Uncommon. Open forests and heath. Sandy soils. Fl. spring–summer Dampiera scottiana
