Sepals 5–7 mm long, very silky hairy; the tube almost covered by bracts. Leaves linear or rarely ovate, with recurved margins, 2–6 mm long, not spinose. Divaricate shrub up to 1 m high. Coast and adjacent plateaus. Heath and DSF. Fl. winter–spring Cryptandra propinqua
