Pedicels recurved at fruiting stage. Peduncle terete. Outside of outer sepals moderately to sparsely hairy, hairs loosely ascending to spreading, a few appressed. Leaf apex acute to rounded sometimes emarginate. Margins crenulate to serrate. Leaves moderately hairy to ± glabrous with semi erect hairs on both surfaces. Inflorescence solitary axillary, with solitary flowers, rarely with 2 flowers or 2 inflorescence’s per axil. Seed surface with reticulate ridges. Loam or clay soils.
