Branches terete smooth or slightly striate. Stamens with hair-like appendages. Flowering branches 1 mm or more wide, scarcely angled beneath the caducous scale leaves, rigid. Flowers arranged towards the ends of branches, solitary in a scale axil, almost sessile. Decumbent or ascending shrub less than 1 m high. DSF. Blue Mts Fl. spring–summer.
