Upper surface of leaves glabrous
Margins of most pinnae with several minute cilia. Terminal pinnae mostly with 5–9 lobes or teeth. Basal leaves few to many to 8 cm long, simple or pinnate. Cauline leaves 2–5 cm long, pinnate. Petals white 3–4 mm long. Sepals 1.5–2 mm long. Fruit 20–30 mm long, c. 1 mm wide. Widespread. Waterways and low lying areas. Fl. spring–summer. Eastern Bittercress Cardamine microthrix
