Leaves with pungent tips, pinnatisect, up to 2 cm long. Involucre 8–10 mm diam; bracts broad, obtuse, with torn-ciliate margins. Ray florets 8 mm long, blue. Cypselas 2–3 mm long, flat, brown, with entire or dissected narrow wings. Western fringe of the Blue Mts Well-drained situations amongst rocks. Fl. summer Brachyscome rigidula
