Involucre less than 3 cm diam. Plants diffuse, with wiry branches, glabrous or silky hairy.
Peduncles more than 2 cm long
Involucre more than 15 mm diam.; bracts white to pink, silky hairy. Petals small, spathulate, with slender claws. Leaves 3–5-partite; segments much incised, with acute lobes. Calyx truncate or sinuate. Loose decumbent herb with stems up to 50 cm long. Blue Mts DSF and heath. Fl. spring–autumn Actinotus forsythii
